Some of you have wondered why Laptop has yet to appear in this blog. After all, he is an integral part of this experience. As readers you must understand one thing, Laptop prefers to work behind the scenes. He is a little bashful, but I did manage to convince him to pose for a few photos.

Sexy profile....oolalaLaptop is descended from the Toshiba Satellite dynasty and is proud of his heritage. I don’t want to pimp him out too much so I will only give you a few of his specs. He has a Centrino duo processor, 2 gigs of ram, a 120 gig hard drive, and a 17” screen. He is also configured with Windows Vista, which he is a little insecure and sensitive about since Xp was the software of choice for such a long time.
Laptop likes to surf the web, play music, download photos and play dvds. He has recently begun to enjoy Facebooking with Girl and all of her friends. This is his first trip abroad and he is a bit nervous. Understandably so, since the rate of theft for electronic devices is extremely high here in Cape Town. Due to the high rate of theft, Laptop prefers to stay inside at the place we are staying. He does not want to venture out and risk being abducted and sold into slavery where he would be forced to engage in illegal activities such as identity theft, stealing software, or burning illegal files. He is also terrified of the marauding troops of pink-assed baboons.
At home in TN, Laptop doesn’t mind the occasional excursion from the condo. He quite enjoys going to Vanderbilt or Starbucks to help Girl write reports or research data. He even volunteered to go along with us on our trip to Ohio to attend a wedding of one of Girl’s friends. He helped map our route, find a hotel, and download pics of the wedding. What a friend Laptop has become.

Is laptop single? Our desktop just went through a nasty breakup and is looking for a dependable, hardworking laptop who likes walks on the beach, getting caught in the rain, and pina coladas. Our desktop isn't big on "long distance" relationships, but may be willing to give it a try.
has your computer been tested? he doesn't want to catch any viruses....
hahaha, that is a comic relief!
I also notice that Laptop's ethnicity is black on the outside...way to go for a white guy, asian girl, and black Laptop, very diverse family, indeed.
