Vandy Football Game

Wow....I can't believe it has been over three months since our last post. I know some interesting things have happened during that time, not sure why we never let the world know. Oh well, we'll try to keep updating a little more often. No promises though : )

On Halloween (Saturday Oct. 31) Girl and I went to the Georgia Tech vs. Vanderbilt college football game with one of our friends. We weren't expecting much of a game since Georgia Tech was ranked No. 11 and Vanderbilt isn't necessarily known as a football powerhouse. The game turned out to be pretty good...at least the first half anyway. Vandy was able to trade scores and went into halftime tied 28-28. The second half was a different story. Vandy made an early 2nd half field goal to take the lead, but that was all the points they could score. GATech went on a 28-0 run after that and blew Vandy out 56-31. At least it was an entertaining game.

GATech fan section. Their band blew Vandy's band away. Pretty sad when the home team's band is so weak : (

We left when the score hit 49-31. We knew it was over.
